We are seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator / Labourer to join our construction team in the Bay of Plenty on a fixed-term contract supporting the delivery of a large project. This is a hands-on role requiring an experienced telehandler operator who is confident working on active construction sites and is willing to support general site labouring duties to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.

You will be working on a large-scale commercial construction project, supporting site teams with material movement, lifting operations, and day-to-day site tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient operation of telehandler on active construction sites.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required.
• Carrying out general labouring duties when plant operation is not required.
• Supporting site team with deliveries, lifting plans, and material organisation.
• Completing pre-start checks and maintaining plant in good working order.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with site safety requirements.
  

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience operating telehandlers in construction environments.
• Current relevant operator licences / endorsements.
• Ability to assist with general labouring tasks as required.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude.
• A commitment to health & safety and a can-do attitude.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Current Site Safe certification is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
